Meet
Good Grub’s Creators
Hi! We are Annie and Lynne, co-creators of the Good Grub food waste education program.
We are two long-time friends (20 years and counting…) who love adventure, food, resourcefulness, and raising our young families (5 kids between us and counting…) to be curious and appreciate the natural world around them. We are also passionate believers in the value of play-based learning.
Annie is a qualified primary education teacher with a real flair for putting together fun and meaningful learning opportunities both in the home and in the classroom. She is the mastermind behind all of Good Grub’s activities, especially the most-loved Farm in a Tin and Orange Grading Station which were all put together by hand!
Lynne brings the knowledge about food and fibre production and food waste reduction. In her ‘serious job’ Lynne is a food waste researcher and broker for food waste solutions. She works with farmers and food businesses across the supply chain, as well as Australia’s most innovative food tech start-ups to find ways of preventing and transforming food waste.
Together, we have combined our energy, passion & knowledge to create Good Grub!
We would love to hear from you if you are a school teacher, early childhood educator, homeschool mum or dad looking for a meaningful and educative incursion experience for your students.

Annie & Lynne
